Pendrell Hall Wedding Photographer
I love being a Pendrell Hall wedding photographer because it’s one of those venues that just works. It’s calm, well laid out, full of light, and it makes wedding days feel relaxed from start to finish which is exactly what you want if you’re being photographed all day.
I’m a Birmingham wedding photographer and I shoot weddings all over the West Midlands. Pendrell Hall is always a good one to come back to because it gives people space to enjoy themselves, which makes a huge difference to the photos. It also holds beautiful memories for me because my brother got married there. I was photographing and I made the cake… what a day! I’m also proudly one of their Handpicked Suppliers!
What Pendrell Hall Is Like on a Wedding Day
Everything at Pendrell Hall feels easy. The rooms are bright, the layout makes sense, and there’s no rushing around trying to find somewhere decent for photos.
There’s plenty of natural light indoors, which means I can photograph what’s actually happening without dragging people into awkward positions or interrupting moments. Perfect for the rainy British weather as well. Outside, the grounds are great for a quick breather and a few relaxed photos without disappearing for ages. The grounds are gorgeous and you can even spot some sheep.
Photographing a Real Wedding at Pendrell Hall
The thing I notice most when I photograph weddings here is how chilled everyone is. Mornings don’t feel frantic, you should check out their beautiful Dressing and Groom Room for all your morning preparations. Ceremonies feel personal, and people settle into the day really quickly.
That’s when the good stuff happens. Nervous smiles before the ceremony, big reactions during the speeches, people laughing at things they probably shouldn’t be laughing at. Those are the moments I’m watching for. Pendrell Hal has a choice of 3 ceremony locations for up to 170 people. Outdoor weddings are possible from May to August.
Once the evening gets going, Pendrell Hall is great for a proper party. The dance floor fills fast, people loosen up, and things get a bit messy in the best possible way.
How I Photograph Weddings at Pendrell Hall
I don’t direct the day or tell people what to do. I keep things relaxed and photograph what’s actually happening.
If you’re getting married at Pendrell Hall, you don’t need to worry about posing or spending half your day doing photos. I’ll grab a few simple couple shots when we go for a wander round the grounds, but most of the time I’m focused on people, reactions, and moments you didn’t even realise were happening.
